A Budding Neighborhood

On the other side of the Tiber river is Monteverde. The area is composed of two parts: Monteverde Vecchio, 19th century stately villas adorned with ancient gardens, which are decorated with fountains and broken statues. Monteverde Nuovo, a newly residential district that is slowly filling up with semi-highrises.
