Giulio Iacchetti
Giulio Iacchetti is an Italian product designer. He believes it is important for a designer in Italy to incorporate design that uses italian craftsmanship. His elegant designs are highly considerate of italian society, behaviours and culture. Many Italian design companies have invited him to collaborate and create collections. His famous partnership with Moleskine resulted in two complimentary objects: a pen and a bag which strongly related with the community of designers as well as the public, and they speak to his skill and deep consideration of the way people use products.
“I believe that in the core of every person, there is this desire to achieve simplicity.”
“Italian design meets the world and then it becomes something else. This is the most beautiful thing there is...this Italian openness. I want to do projects that have the taste of our people, our land.”
