Lerici

La Spezia, Liguria

A week spent in Lerici had us noticing the nuances of Italian coastal ways: the delight of snapping off wild rosemary and sage for dinner that night, the sun on our backs, jumping off rocks to swim in blue water, sitting on the pier to watch boats, listening the sounds of waves crashing, watching glimmering fireflies fill the mountainside and telling stories around a bonfire.
